Mammoth problems, one bite at a time
How Do You Eat an Elephant?
Eat The Elephant 501(c)(3) was established to dismantle complex global challenges through pragmatic, local action. Our methodology is rooted in the scientific method: we investigate problems at the grassroots level, deploy rigorous research to test hypotheses, and develop prototypes for community-level deployment.
By collaborating directly with local residents and leaders, we gain a ground-level perspective on critical infrastructure—from waste management and medication access to the evolution of educational processes. By turning testable hypotheses into operational systems, we ensure our impact is measurable, local, and lasting. Our goal: empower communiteis from the ground up through collaboration and targeted execution.
We're Builders
Eat The Elephant’s founder, Kenneth Woodall, is a hands-on leader in global education and commercial development. Beyond helping thousands of students secure access to higher education, he has mentored over a hundred young researchers in publishing peer-reviewed work across healthcare, engineering, and biology.
But Kenneth is also a builder. He recognizes a systemic failure in the modern world: the “lag time” between a breakthrough in research and its actual deployment in the field. He believes that while systems must be followed to ensure safety and integrity, they shouldn’t become an excuse for delayed intervention.
Through ETE, Kenneth works to bridge the gap between academic theory and on-the-ground application. His mission is to cut through the red tape of traditional development, accelerating the process of turning a hypothesis into a physical community asset. By working in close conjunction with the communities he helps build, Kenneth ensures that every project follows a singular, pragmatic ethos: “Learn, Engage, and Do!”—the founding philosophy of the L.E.A.D. Fellowship.
